There it was. Home.
BlackenedClan had been completely settled into their new camp. Solarstorm stood just outside their new nursery under a fallen log. She could hear Porcelainkit sleeping quietly and Mudkit muttering in her sleep, a habbit she'd had since she learned to talk. Though she did like the sounds of the ocean, the queen was glad that BlackenedClan still had a good amount of woods. Born in the woodlands, Solarstorm would always be rather fond of trees. She looked about the camp. Birchfox and Cinderpaw were over sharing a rabbit, but, other than that, it didn't look like many cats were up yet. Giving a happy sigh, Solarstorm sat down, glad to just sit in the quiet for a moment.

Porcelainkit awoke, her light azure eyes flickering around camp before the dark grey she-kit prodded her sister, to see if she would awake. When it didn't work, she stood, tottering over to where her mother sat. Sitting down, she mewled happily, leaning against Solarstorm happily.

Solarstorm smiled down at her young kit. "Good morning, little one," she purred. She leaned down and gave Porcelainkit a soft lick on the head. "Mum, mum, mum," a soft voice tuttered as Mudkit came stumbling towards them, looking still half asleep.

Porcelainkit licked her mother's leg, before spotting her sister and waving her gray tail happily. Squealing with delight, she pounced on Mudkit, her light blue eyes shimmering with joy.

Solarstorm smiled at her daughters, purring slightly. Mudkit cried noisely out at her sister's unexpected attack. "Muuuuum!" she whined, rolling away from Porcelainkit. "Alright, that's enough, leave your sister be," she said to her little gray daughter.

Porcelainkit frowned slightly, the expression marring her clear and beautiful features. She gave a slight whimper, pawing at her mother's foreleg. "But, muuum!" She whined, her light azure eyes shimmering in sorrow. She wanted to play!

Solarstorm gave Porcelainkit a soft lick on the head, turning her gaze back towards the light sky, staring wistfully at the passing clouds with a sigh. It was hard being a kinda-medicine cat and a queen at the same time.

Porcelainkit gave a smile to her mother, and sat down like the perfect angel. A minute passed, and boredom began to creep into her mind. Scooting to the left a little bit, she pawed at her tail. Ooo, a game! She pounced, but then it vanished! She rolled on the ground to try and grab it, before ramming into her mother. Giggling incessantly, she pawed at her mother's foreleg, azure eyes glimmering.

Solarstorm smiled down at Porcelainkit. "You oddball." She batted gently at her daughter's head. Nearby, Mudkit was watching with growing interest.

Porcelainkit laughed happily, leaping onto Solarstorm's back, using her tail to stay on as she smiled joyously. "Mudkit! Play!" She called to her sister, dark gray paws clutching to her mother's back as she laughed and smiled and giggled.

Solarstorm fell to her side on the ground, not to squish her daughter, but to knock her off. Mudkit leapt over and jumped on her mother's side too, looking enormously proud of herself. "Got you!" she growled playfully. "Oh, you did, did you?" Solarstorm laughed, giving Mudkit a soft bat on the ear.

Porcelainkit laughed, her light blue eyes twinkling merrily. "C'mon, Mudkit, let's get her!" She yowled happily, pouncing on her mother, in a strangely playful mood. Normally, she would have been looking up at the sky, curious and loving towards the clouds carressed by those blue depths.

Solarstorm laughed, glad to find her to daughters not arguing for once. Usually, it was Mudkit urging Porcelainkit to come and play, not the other way around. Mudkit gave the fiercest growl she could muster(which sounded more like a dark, cute giggle) and chewed on her mother's shoulder-fur, eyes wide with excitement.

Porcelainkit giggled happily, rolling off of her mother's back and beginning to chase her mother's tail, in an odd mood. And yet, it was so delightful! She pawed at it, trying to catch it, determination glittering in her eyes.

Solarstorm flicked her tail for her daughters to catch for a while, then sighed and stood. "Alright, that's enough. Why don't you two go play with Cinderpaw?" Mudkit blinked at her. "Cinderpaw no like kits. She say so." The little brown kit shook her head, as if confirming this. Solarstorm sighed, rolling her eyes. "Then go play with Birchfox. I /know/ he likes kits." She nudged both kits out the den.

Porcelainkit gave a sigh, and then tottered out of the den, calling out in her sweet voice, "Birchfox! BIRCHFOX!!" It was almost a caterwaul, but indeed, it was nothing to panic about. Just the whims of a kit.

Birchfox, who was still laying next to Cinderpaw, looked up from cleaning the she-apprentice's fur. "Porcelainkit, what's wrong?" he asked, looking slightly alarmed. Mudkit tuttered up, giggling. "Nuttin'. Mum say we come play." Cinderpaw snorted. "Stupid kits," she muttered so quietly, only she could hear it. Standing and shaking her silver tabby pelt, she turned and padded off without another word. "Ohhh," Birchfox replied to the kits, ignoring Cinderpaw. "So, your mum sent you to play with me, is that it?" His eyes sparkled with amusement.

Porcelainkit nodded, before flicking her tail behind her and pouncing on Birchfox, delight and laughter bubbling into her face, her sweet voice calling out, "Cinderpaw, play!"

Cinderpaw glanced back at Porcelainkit, giving her a sarcastic look. Then the apprentice rolled her eyes and stalked from camp.
Mudkit, looking dejected, just sat down, pouting.

Porcelainkit looked over at Mudkit, her tail swooshing in the air. "Sis, Play!" She yowled joyfully, her eyes sparkling in an incessant happy mood. An infectuous(sp?) mood, I might add.

Mudkit hesitated for a moment before leaping on the warrior. "Grahhh!" She dug her small claws deep into his fur and batted, hyper, at his side.

Porcelainkit toppled off of Birchfox, laying on her back and staring at the sky, her light azure eyes reflecting the cloud's beauty and grace that she was gazing at, having lost the notion of playing in order to watch the clouds.

A snowshoe she-cat padded into camp, a limp sparrow dangling from her jaws. She settled down to eat the meal, starving from the trip. As Windsong daintily devoured her meal her bright and shimmering blue eyes watched Birchfox and the kits with a mild sense of amusement.

Birchfox smiled fondly as Porcelainkit slipped into her trance. 'Reminds me of her mum,' he thought to himself. Batting playfully at Mudkit, the pale warrior noticed Windsong slip into camp, Almost shyly, he shot her a quick smile.

Porcelainkit stepped forward, her dainty head still tilted upwards, her paws thudding against the sodden terrain as she trotted unknowingly towards one of the trees in their new camp. Thunk, she whammed into it, and was thrown abruptly from her dreamland. Pain, though kittish, was searing through her head where a small bump was raised. In the morning she wouldn't remember it, but the kit felt it now. With a pouty lip and a small cry, a light colored tear splashed from her azure eyes, the small she-kit laid down with a thump in order to comfort herself, small weeping sounds escaping her tightly constricted throat.
