Windsong managed to return a light smile and friendly nod towards Birchfox before the tune of Porcelainkit's wails struck her ear drums. She padded hesitantly over to the kit. She wasn't that good with kits, but it tugged at her heartstrings when they cried. "Hey, what's the matter?" she mewed, sitting down next to her.

A pathetic sniffle and then Porcelainkit quieted, looking up at Windsong with her big lightly-colored eyes. "I hit my head." She mewled sadly, pointing at the tree with her tail. It was, indeed, the story of a little kit who had hurt themselves, sort of like when a two-year old gets a 'booboo.' It didn't matter much at all, but to the kit, it seemed like the biggest problem in the world, as it usually is with kits.

Mudkit leapt off Birchfox and darted over to her sister. "What you do?!" she asked accusingly of Windsong.
Birchfox rolled to his feet and came over, laughing when he heard Mudkit's words. "Protective, isn't she?"

"Nuthin!" Porcelainkit was hasty to add, defending Windsong. "I ran into a tree..." She added softly, looking around in shame. Any cat would know better than to run into a tree, but she had been so intent on following the cloud...well, she hadn't seen it coming.

Windsong had been about to snap back at Mudkit to respect her elders when Porcelainkit interrupted. She sealed her motuh, pursing her lips with a light smile to Birchfox. "She'll be fine," she shot a sympathetic glance to Porcelainkit then padded a little bit backwards to a small patch of sun.

Birchfox smiled fondly to the kits and trotted after Windsong, tenaciously settling down next to her. "She reminds me of her mother, Mudkit does." He purred a laugh. "Solarstorm has every right to be proud of those little scaps." He glanced at her, then down at his paws.
Mudkit stared after the warriors for a moment, and was about to say something rude, when something fluttered past her shoulder. "Oh, Porcelainkit!" she exclaimed. "A wutterfly!" She turned to watch the graceful insect flitter around them.

Porcelainkit had been thinking, whilst Windsong left and so did Birchfox. She wanted to be able to heal, she wanted to be able to fix broken cats...Then, there was the butterfly. "Wutterfly!" She meowed happily, her light azure eyes widening in wonder as they followed the little insect's movements, it's fluttering wings thrilling the little she-kit.

Windsong nodded in agreement, "They're definately something else." She managed to with-hold a mrrow of amusement. "I just got back from hunting, but would you like to go on a border patrol with me?" such an offer was rare from Windsong, as she normally kept to herself, not being of the talkative type.

Shy Birchfox nodded, standing. "Where should we start?" (WB.)
Mudkit leapt to her feet, chasing the insect and trying to bat at it. "Come on, Porcelainkit, let's get it!" On her young, unsure feet, she swung again and again, but missed each time.

Porcelainkit pounced, trying to bat at the butterfly with her slender gray paw. Her claws were unsheathed, but the butterfly deftly avoided her flying paws every time she swung, her movements clumsy and happy as her laughter chirruped around the camp, her light colored eyes sparkling with the joy of it all. "Okay, Mudkit!"

"LitheClan?" Windsong suggested, rising as well. She took a hesitant step towards the camp entrance, looking back as if awaiting Birchfox's approval. (WB for me too! ^^)

Mudkit giggled, trotting after her brother with a loud giggle.
Birchfox smiled. "Sounds good," he said, trying to keep a purr out of his voice.

Porcelainkit grinned, HER (she's a girl. xD) eyes sparkling as she switched targets, leaving the butterfly and pouncing on Mudkit with joy and happiness resounding in her light giggle.

Windsong nodded, with a cheery smile, and set off into the forest, though at a slow pace so she and Birchfox could pad side by side. Robin sounded rather tasty at the moment, and she would love to chase a rabbit or two. Her nose instinctivly rose to the air and she inhaled the scents deeply.

Mudkit rolled away, laughing noisily. "You can't get me!" She trotted away, slowing so her sister would chase her.
Birchfox trotted next to her in silence, looking at her, then glancing away again when she might be looking towards him. When the finally reached their border with LitheClan, Birchfox paused to sniff the scent-line, then breath in the scents of LitheClan. They hadn't checked their borders in a while.

Porcelainkit smiled, her sweet-colored eyes lighting up as she meowed, "Yes I can!" She bounded forward, her dark-furred tail whipping behind her as she chased after her sister in a joyful way.

Mudkit laughed, now pushing herself into an all-out run, her tail pulled to her belly and her mouth open in a grin.
From inside her den, Solarstorm smiled quietly to herself at her two daughters, BlackenedClan's only kits, runing in circles.

Porcelainkit darted forward, her long-fur pressed against her slender sides as she sped forward as fast as she could, before leaping onto Mudkit and laughing merrily.

Windsong smelled the border as well, breathing deeply, then taking a moment to calculate what she had just smelled. "The clans have been keeping to themselves lately," she mewed lightly, with a gentle smile.

Birchfox cast her a sly look. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" he teased lightly. (WB.)
Mudkit let out a surprised cry and rolled to her side, putting her foot to her sisters belly and batting at her wildly with sheathed claws. Yes, she certainly showed potential, but she also showed she knew absolutely nothing about fighting.

Porcelainkit tumbled backwards, flopping onto her back and letting the wind ruffle her dark gray pelt. Watching the sky with her light azure-colored eyes, she suddenly meowed, curiously, "Why's the sky so big?"

"Too fit all of StarClan," their mother said absent-mindedly as she came over and began to lick Porcelainkit's belly-fur while she had the chance. (WB.)

Porcelainkit giggled as her mother licked her, light eyes shining happily before she leapt up, pawing at her mother and meowing, "Why do cats get hurt?" She really was a curious she-cat, and all of her curiousity would lead her to be very excited about learning new things when she was an apprentice.

Windsong laughed in her throat, her smile spreading. Flicking her tail, she continued to smell, her nose in the air as she inhaled deeply. "Clan life is easier than being a loner," she commented, "Have you always been a clan cat?"

"You oddball; you ask the oddest questions, you know?" Still, the dark she-cat purred as she licked her kit fondly.
Birchfox was silent for a short moment. "Most of my life, yes. I was on my own for a short while before I came here." He looked to her and smiled.
