8. Very sweet towards other cats, Featherpaw is playful and energetic. She can get annoyed with how her brother acts toward her./ Rainpaw can be kind, but not right away. He's always scolding Featherpaw for trusting cats they don't know. He is strong and brave but very(sometimes overly) protective of his twin sister, Featherpaw.
9. Featherpaw and Rainpaw always grew up together very close. Rainpaw plays the role of the protective brother who won't let his sister go anywhere without knowing who she was going with and where she was going. Featherpaw always tries to get away from his questions and she claims she'll get away from him one day, but that only made him watch out for her more.
Practice Post:
The sun just peaked over the horizon like a blazing ball of fire. Featherpaw watched the rhythmic rise and fall of the other apprentices chests, especially her brother's. Taking one last glance around the apprentices den, she slipped out as silently as she could, as if stalking a rabbit. Her shoulders felt less tense as she was out in the open, taking in the scenery of the camp. Blinking her eyes a few times she treaded over to the fresh-kill pile. The apprentice sifted through it, eventually picking out a plump vole. She ravenously gulped it down, swiping her tongue around her muzzle. Featherpaw darted her eyes back and forth as if expecting a fox to jump out and eat her. Giving her chest a few quick licks she trotted across the camp, trying to be especially careful when passing the apprentices den. When at the entrance, she closed her eyes and made a small mew of triumph. Opening her amber eyes again, she lifted one paw ready to exit the camp, when a figure stepped out from the shadows. "And just where do you think you're going?" The figure growled.
Rainpaw shifted in his nest when he felt the warmth of his sister sleeping next to him vanish. Forcing himself to take no notice he continued to sleep. He had assumed that she rolled over in her sleep, but something told him ‘no’. His eyelids twitched until he opened them. Still blinking out the sleep, he began his regular morning stretches. Each leg in turn, the neck, then top it all off with a swish of the tail. He made one last shake of his pelt to rid himself of the moss that still clung to him then turned around. Featherpaw was gone. The tom burst out of the apprentices den, only to see that his sister was at the fresh-kill pile, finishing a tasty vole while looking quite paranoid. He bounded over to a clump of shady ferns near the camp entrance when he noticed Featherpaw turn around. He agreed with himself on what he would say when she was about to leave the camp –which he knew she was-. Tensing his muscles when she drew nearer, he sprung. Featherpaw had one paw up in the air when he let out a growl. Angry questioning burned in his eyes. She couldn’t say that she was out with another warrior, for no other cat was beside her. ‘How would she get out of this one?’ Rainpaw thought as Featherpaw readied an excuse. She opened her mouth to speak.....
