))I hope so! *jumps up and down with excitement*((
Scarsong felt hope and worry rise in her chest, as her claws kneaded into the sand with anticipation. The slender striped tail that was so often wrapped around her haunches was swishing behind her, something she only did when worry haunted her, as it did now. Her amber eyes watched Stormyeyes and Forsakenheart intently, oblivious to the world around her.
Viperclaw grinned broadly, from ear to ear, and then meowed to Tropicalpaw, "Okay. Now that you can hunt crab, I'd like to see what else you can do. So, go hunting, and I will watch from wherever I am." And with that, Viperclaw plunged into the ocean, running along the sand and out of sight, up towards the grassier area that was like a ridge to the beach, and sat down behind a boulder, where he could just see Tropicalpaw's outline in the distance.

"Wait, Viperclaw!" Tropicalpaw called after him. "Stormyeyes will want us to check back in camp..." His voice trailed away as the warrior leapt off. "She is heading to the Seastone soon...." he added quietly, wondering how he felt that his mother would soon be the Clan's leader.
Stormyeyes nodded. "Certainly. But, first..." She turned. "Cloudpaw! Would you run and get Viperclaw and Tropicalpaw? They should be here for this meeting." She wrapped her fluffy tail over her paws.

Skidding to a halt, Viperclaw just managed to hear Tropicalpaw's words and sped back to where the apprentice was, panting in a happy way. "Good point." He was grinning still, something he only did with his sister, and...well, his mood suddenly dropped. He now had three cats he considered his friends; Scarsong, Tropicalpaw and...the she-cat that never left his mind. It was bad of him to do it, but he constantly thought of the coppery-black LitheClan she-cat.

Cloudedpaw nodded sharply at Stormyeyes' words then bounded out of camp. She rose her nose high into the air, breathing in the scents and trying to catch one of Viperclaw or Tropicalpaw's. There! Suddenly a breeze blew in their scent and she dashed off towards the beach. "Viperclaw! Tropicalpaw!" she called out as sand hit her soft pink pads.
Forsakenheart blinked, "Thank you," he mewed simply, then sat down patiently. ((WB))

Viperclaw saw Cloudedpaw and called out, "Coming!" He began to jog towards the apprentice, his short legs moving rapidly in order to get there as soon as he could. Once arriving at where the she-cat was, he slowed, jade eyes glimmering. "Yes?" He asked, his voice rough and quiet as his good mood faded away, like the sunlight leaves at night.

Tropicalpaw, however, remained excited and in a good mood, trotting dutifully after Viperclaw at Cloudpaw's call. "Is Stormyeyes leaving for the Seastone soon?" he asked, curious as to why they had been called.

Cloudedpaw smiled brightly, nodding with enthusiasm, "Yes! And I think there is going to be a clan meeting soon too!" She ran behind him, nudging him, "Let's go!" Without waiting she darted quickly back to camp in series of long strides and jumps.

Viperclaw also bounded forward, speeding towards camp and entering it, to see Scarsong trembling. "What's wrong?" He asked gruffly, but she merely shook her head, afraid of what Forsakenheart was going to say. Viperclaw sat down and cuddled her neck with his head, jade eyes glimmering as worry blossomed in his heart.
))No more time, gotta go!((

Tropicalpaw followed Viperclaw with ease, slowing as he slipped into camp and taking a seat next to Cloudpaw. His eyes were shining and he looked up at Forsakenheart and Stormyeyes.
Stormyeyes, seeing her son and warrior return, flicked her tail to the medicine cat, signalling that he may begin.

Forsakenheart cleared his throat incredibly nervous, "Erm, as most of you know, I've been torn between what I love, and who I love for quite a while." He paused at this, looking at the rest of his clan, "I've choosen, and although I love being a medicine cat, I can't pretend what happened hasn't happened. So I've choosen to take an apprentice, and retire when the apprentice is ready." He dipped his head respectfully, then stepped aside so Stormyeyes could say her peace.

"Retire to be a warrior," Stormyeyes put in, glancing at Forsakenheart. "You are still much too young to be an elder." She smiled, happy for him, then turned back to the rest of the Clan. "So, it has been decided that Silverkit will be Forsakenheart's apprentice. He will come with us to the Seastone now. So, from this moment on, until StarClan grants him his medicine cat name, he shall be known as Silverpaw." She paused for the effect, smiling softly, then turned to Forsakenheart again, glancing between him and Scarsong. "Just because I am allowing you two to be together, doesn't mean there won't be restrictions for now. For six moons, neither of you will be allowed to go to Gatherings. Nor shall I allow you two to have any kits until that time is up either. At the end of those six moons, Silverpaw will become our full medicine cat and you, Forsakenheart, a warrior of TideClan for the first time in your life. You will spend time with Scarsong only after Silverpaw has been trained each day, is that clear?" She gave them both heavy looks, showing she would be very sure that her rules would be followed. "If you both agree, then there is one last thing we must discuss before we leave for the Seastone."
Tropicalpaw's eyes widened slightly. "Woah." He hadn't known about any of this, not at all. And yet, now that he thought about it, it seemed rather obvious that Scarsong and Forsakenheart had feelings for eachother... He looked over to Cloudpaw. "Wow, I didn't see that coming, did you?" He laughed lightly. "That's alot of rules they're gonna have to follow. But you know, Stormyeyes will have their hides if the don't." He smiled.

Scarsong's heart fluttered in her chest as she stepped forward a step, if only to assure herself that Forsakenheart was saying what he said. Upon hearing Stormyeyes words, Scarsong nodded, her amber eyes clear of the shadows that had been tainting them in what seemed like forever. Finally, her heart was whole. She sat down and wondered what else Stormyeyes could want...oh, ever since Darkhope...sorrow panged in Scarsong's heart as she remembered her friend, and vaguely wondered who would replace her. She knew that Stormyeyes wouldn't pick her, since, well, for obvious reasons...but who would she pick?

Forsakenheart nodded with a gentle smile spreading cheerfully across his face. "Of course," he dipped his head to Stormyeyes, going to sit beside Scarsong. He could feel his heart thumping viciously against his rib cage and he felt like leaping about and yowling until his face was blue, but instead he sat like a good cat, concealing the purr that was jumping up his throat.
Silverpaw's little tabby form lit up with joy and excitement, his dream was coming true! He could hardly wait until training, and the seastone! What an honor!
Cloudedpaw grinned at how romantic the whole scene what, "That's incredible!" she trilled. She looked to Tropicalpaw with a soft chuckle, "They'll definately have to watch themselves for awhile!"

Tropicalpaw grinned and let out a happy purr. Then he looked towards the newly-named Silverpaw, an odd look in his eyes, almost as if he were remembering his own apprentice ceremony. After a moment, he looked up at his mother.
Stormyeyes stood, her tail flicking lightly behind her. "As we all know, Darkhope has disappeared along with Sandsong... I cannot go away, leaving the Clan alone without a deputy." She paused. "If she is among StarClan, or still walking the earth, may Darkhope's spirit hear and approve." Her eyes scored the cats before her. "Viperclaw shall be the new deputy of TideClan."

Viperclaw's jade eyes widened, before a small smile appeared on his face. 'Finally!' He thought, not in a power-hungry way. 'Something to rid me of the monotony of my life!' He padded forward, looking up at Stormyeyes expectantly and acceptably, nodding his head ever-so-slightly.
Scarsong hardly heard that her brother was deputy, however selfish that may seem. She smiled at him and nodded encouragingly, happy for him and yet unable to tear her amber eyes away from Forsakenheart, sleek and elegant tail wrapped around her haunches.

Cloudedpaw watched in awe as Viperclaw was named deputy. It would be was fascinating to see a deputy ceremony! And then, once that was done she could go to the Seastone with the others. How much better could this day get? She chuckled silently to herself.
Silverpaw sat proudly, his eyes focused on Stormyeyes, but his mind elsewhere. His lifelong dream was well on it's way to becoming a reality, who could blame him?
Forsakenheart too, was pulled into another world by his thoughts, all about his future with Scarsong. They would go hunting together, go on patrols together, and when all their duties were down they'd enjoy a nice swim before curling up together for the night. He sighed softly, oh! Kits! He'd never thought of that! Now they could have kits! He dug his claws into the sandy dirt in anticipation.

Scarsong's eyes roamed before locking on Forsakenheart's eyes, her tail whipping behind her excitedly. To be able to curl up next to him, feel his heart beating next to hers, to groom his pelt without shame or fear. Oh, how she longed for the instant when the meeting was over...she could see it, see every fur on his pelt, every trace of happiness that shone in his eyes...

A yowl of approval erupted from Tropicalpaw. His eyes were alight with excitement. His mother leader, and now his new mentor-friend was deputy, too? But, another thought occured to him and his smile slowly faded. As leader and deputy, they would have to lead TideClan into battle someday... Just the thought of battles made him shudder. TideClan was too small to lose anyone. At least he could be reassured that the Clan would soon be getting bigger. He glanced towards the Clan's only queen, the young she-cat Morningwind.
Moringwind's long, fluffy tail was drapped over her paws as Stormyeyes announced the new deputy. She smiled softly. She'd been in the Clan for nearly ten moons now and she still didn't know the others very well. She and her brother had joined TideClan when they were seven moons old, when Graysun had only just become leader. The thought of the gray leader made her head clench. He alone had really understood her... And yet, here she was, carrying another tom's kits... She looked down at her paws, an almost angry look in her eyes. She would have welcomed Graysun's kits as her own... Shaking those thoughts away with a grunt, she her eyes caught on Tropicalpaw just as he looked away. He seemed so... eager and happy... Graysun had never been like that. Graysun had always been prepared for the worst, expecting to be stabbed in the back at any moment. There had only been a few times when she'd actually seen him relax.

Viperclaw gave Tropicalpaw a sideways glance, a wicked grin, briefly entering his expression. Then his face turned back to seriousness, and his gaze returned to Stormyeyes, his jade eyes sparkling with joy and thankfulness.
The sleek tom exited the Warrior's den, his black-tipped ears flicking around, before his sand-colored eyes spotted his sister, and he let out a small and warm purr, trotting over to her and sitting down next to her, brown pelt brushing against her pale silver hues. His black tipped tail briefly touched her hind leg, his smile broad and gentle, Sandspirit then turning and watching the ceremony.

Stormyeyes nodded and leapt down from the stone, landing next to Viperclaw. "Keep an eye on things while I'm gone," she said queitly. Then, without waiting for a reply, she turned and started for the camp's entrance, pausing to wait for the others.
Tropicalpaw flashed Cloudedpaw a grin. "Have fun!" He let out a soft purr then went over to sit next to his temporary mentor, Viperclaw.
Morningwind smiled briefly to her brother, but it didn't last. She winced as a small paw pushed hard against her belly, then watched Stormyeyes jump down from the stone. A sudden thought occured to her and she suddenly felt anxious with so many cats leaving. If she had her kits while they were gone, there would be no-one to help her. Forsakenheart would be gone, as well as Stormyeyes, the only one of them who had had kits before. She wondered vaguely where the old queen Silvercurrent had slipped off to. Feeling unsure, she shuffled her paws, suddenly very alert.

Viperclaw nodded briskly to Stormyeyes, his tail flicking a farewell to her before a crooked grin was pasted on his face as he noticed Tropicalpaw, the light in his eyes something that the apprentice alone ever saw.
Scarsong stood, stretching her sleek muscles and trotting over to Stormyeyes, her haunting amber eyes shimmering in anticipation and readiness for the journey to come.
Sandspirit's eyes squinted in worry, his voice full of love and concern as he meowed to his sister, "Are you okay?" His voice was soft, his tail flicking behind him as his claws briefly dug into the sand-dirt, protectiveness a trait of his.

Morningwind shook her head softly. "N-no, I'm fine." She gave her brother a soft nudge on the shoulder, then stood and went to sit outside the nursery, wincing as another little paw dug into her belly.

Sandspirit didn't believe her, but decided to give her the space she needed, trotting over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbing a small crab, ripping out some flesh from its hard shell and munching on it, still keeping one of his eyes on Morningwind, just in case.

Cloudedpaw grinned, "Bye Tropicalpaw!" She darted off after the rest of the cats, every fur on her pelt tingling with excitement. She joined Stormyeyes, then looked back to the others.
Forsakenheart followed Scarsong shortly after. He wondered how many were going on the journey and if he had prepared enough packets for the cats. "Erm, who is all going, Stormyeyes?" he looked to his leader curiously.

Stormyeyes looked around. "Well, you, me, Silverpaw, Scarsong, and Cloudpaw." She shook her fur lightly and licked her shoulder.
Tropicalpaw glanced again at Morningwind and chuckled quietly. "She'd probably jump off a cliff if she could see how big her belly really looks," he purred, recalling how, as a warrior, she'd never eaten much and was always thin.
